We want to say a big hello and welcome to Justin Livesey, who will be working at the Cabrach Trust as Project Officer.
Justin who started working with us on the 18th of April, will be working with our Executive Director, Sue Savege, on all manner of the Trust’s work. In particular, Justin will be taking up the mantle of progressing the plans for converting the Acorn Centre.
Justin says, “The work that the Trust has done so far is very impressive and as the Project Officer I am look forward to helping the project move forward. It is a very exciting time for the Cabrach and I can see a bright future for the area.
For the past year, I have been working for the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust where I worked with the local community to look at sustainable projects. Before this I worked for William Grant & Sons at the Glenfiddich Visitor Centre and previously for The Institution of Engineering & Technology as a Facilities / Project Manager
I have grown up in the North East of Scotland having gone to nearby Alford Academy. I have family in Huntly & Alford and now live just outside Craigellachie.
I look forward to meeting and working with the community in the Cabrach and helping the Trust to delivery their ambitious plans”.
Sue says. “Its fantastic to have Justin on board with us, he brings a great range of skills and local knowledge to the project, and at time when there is so much going on at the Cabrach Trust, its really great to have an extra pair of hands.
